i've been nervous about posting this 1st blog, so i'm just going to get it over with. i'm trying to decide on a theme, but since i don't have kids (other than the pups), i don't love to cook, i'm not a "do-it-yourselfer", and i don't have an interesting hobby, i'm having trouble coming up with something. i was considering doing a pharmacy-themed blog, but most people aren't interested in the subject, and those who are don't have time to read anything other than clinical trials...so, if anyone has any thoughts on the subject, please share.
i'll start with some background information first. my husband, dave, and i just moved back home from living in stockton for way too long. we are thrilled to be home and are enjoying spending more time with people we love.
dave and i just celebrated our 4th anniversary. we've gone through a lot these past few years, so we decided to treat ourselves to a cruise. i don't know what i would have done without my supportive husband these past few years - he keeps me sane when i'm tired and broken. we're blessed to share such a love.

our balcony view
dave on our huge balcony - they gave us the penthouse suite because they double-booked our original room! it was fantastic - complete with butler and champagne.

romantic dinner :)
we really needed a vacation - now we're ready to get back to work!
i've pretty much been a hermit these past few years - i'm working on my doctor of pharmacy degree, which requires countless hours of studying, cramming, and working. this means i've neglected things, like communication, hair cuts, and life in general. now that i'm doing my clinical rotations, i'm still neglecting those things, but at least i'm HOME. i currently work in the outpatient clinic at the county hospital and am loving it. i'm still getting used to 12 hr days, but it's totally worth it. hopefully this experience will help me determine what i'd like to be when i grow up...
Well, that's it for my first blog! Stay tuned for possible themes!

hooray for you!
Yipee! And please, working at a county hospital I'm guessing you'll have plenty of interesting stories for us.
Sooo glad you are only a couple blocks away! It will be a great read! KMC will provide some great patients, you travel to fabulous places, and living in/reorganizing g-pa's house might provide some interesting challenges!
oh yay!!! not only am i ecstatic to have you home, but now i have one more way to waste time at work! things are really starting to look up :) i can't wait for doggy play dates. and DUH! you just read The Pact! was that no the most intense page turner for your life... far more so than that pharmaco-whatever book you also mentioned. hehe
Yeah! I'm so excited! Thanks for lunch the other day, it was fabuloso. And can't wait for next weekend!!! :)
Hi, Angie! I stumbled on your blog through Christie's, who I know via her husband Mark. I've known Mark since elementary school...small world, huh?!
