SUMMER VACATION

Now that I'm done with school and entering the working world, I had pretty much accepted that I would never again have a true summer vacation. BUT, thanks to the mandatory union at VONS pharmacy, and the county's extreme inefficiency, I have THREE weeks of summer vacation! Yes, this means I QUIT VONS and am not starting at KMC until next month :) Dave and I will be taking advantage of this time by going to a family wedding back east and then heading up north for some looooong walks, ocean breezes, and plenty of yummy fresh fish. Then we'll head home for some BBQ's, bike rides, and walks with the ones we love. This will most likely be my last summer vacation, why not live it up??

Crunch time.

I've officially set my licensure exam dates. Why I have to take YET ANOTHER exam in my life is beyond me, much less TWO of them. So instead of spending my break between graduation and my start date at the hospital being lazy and taking a much needed vacation, I am spending it studying. Ever. Single. Day. Normally I would not post this on my blog, but I'm nervous and could use the prayers. So until these are behind me, I will continue to study like a mad woman and hope I will not stress myself out too much - wish me luck!

Friends

These beautiful girls are my best friends, my booty girls, and my partners in crime. We've pretty much known each other since birth, and have been through everything together. From dealing with broken hearts and bad decisions, to parents splitting, to a brother in rehab, to finding "the one", to weddings and funerals, going our separate ways for college, GRADUATION, to moving home (or finding new homes), adding a new perfect baby boy, and weekend trips, we have remained best friends. We share a love for dips, giant Styrofoam cups, good gossip, almond champagne, waaaay to much tv, fruit stands, and the 3rd of July. I love these girls and am so blessed to call them my friends. Thanks for celebrating with me this weekend!
